Red Lodge Fire Rescue provides prompt, skillful emergency medical care to Red Lodge and the surrounding area 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week. We do this with a dedicated cadre of EMT’s and paramedics. Our volunteers are the backbone of our department, and we are fortunate to have a great group of dedicated volunteers well trained and skilled in emergency medical care.
In addition to providing emergency medical care, our EMS providers teach EMT and CPR classes, provide medical standbys for events, perform public relations / education duties, maintain equipment, and spend countless hours each year training to keep their skills sharp.
Our ambulances are equipped with a wide array of advanced emergency medical equipment, including emergency medications, advanced airway equipment, trauma equipment, IV supplies, immobilization devices for spinal injuries and fractures, advanced cardiac monitors, and more. Whether transporting someone with a sprained ankle to the hospital or a critical care transport of a cardiac patient with advanced medications being administered, our highly trained staff stands ready for the call.
