RED LODGE FIRE PREVENTION PROGRAM
The Fire Prevention Program (FPP) works to develop and implement methods to reduce the likelihood of loss of life and or property due to fire. In doing so, comprehensive plans are maintained to sustain consistent inspections of commercial property, wildland / urban interface (WUI) areas, and residential and commercial real estate developments. Additionally, the FPP develops and maintains public education, hazard assessment, fuel mitigation, and FireWise community development programs. The FPP is managed by the Assistant Chief - Fire Prevention under the direction of the Fire Chief.
